Geisha Table has the spirit of a true izakaya, a Japanese style establishment with an informal and social, yet sophisticated vibe, and uncomplicated and fresh cuisine.
This little gem in the Upper West Side offers an intimate setting for guests to experience a select menu from Master Sushi Chef Don Pham. Our food is simple, yet designed and executed to the highest level.
With only 23 seats, our quaint sushi bar and Japanese restaurant greets diners with a warm and organic envelope punctuated with color and authentic Japanese accents. Communal seating contributes to the friendly and lively setting, as customers are encouraged to mingle with each other during their visits.
The name, Geisha Table, has been chosen to honor the
beautiful hand-made communal table occupying the
center of the room. This table is much more than a
functional piece of furniture. It was conceived and
built as a piece of art, a truly original creation.
It perfectly embodies the concept for the restaurant:
warm, simple, communal, and made with love. .
